The existence of electricity tower on sidewalk along Jalan Yos Sudarso, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta is considered has seized pedestrian rights. It is hoped to be moved so that pedestrian could freely pass the sidewalk.

"The sidewalk must not be built with any building even tower. The government should be on pedestrian side. Moreover the distance between the tower and North Jakarta Mayor Office is only 300 meters," said Marijiono (32) one of pedestrians, Thursday (11/26).

When being confirmed, Head of North Jakarta One-Stop Integrated Service, Johan Girsang claimed did not know about the tower.

"I didn't know. I'll check it later," he stated.

Regarding the policy taken for the tower, he explained, his side will check the tower permit first. If it is written above 2015, then pedestrians complaint will be continued to the Spatial Planning Sub-Department.

Considering, North Jakarta PTSP along 2015 has not issued permit for tower establishment, both for electricity or Base Transceiver Station (BTS).
