Due to trading on sidewalk, as many as 70 street vendors' stalls along Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan , Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, controlled by Satpol PP officers, Monday (11/30). 

Those street vendors were trading on sidewalk thus disrupt public order. Commonly they sell foods, drinks, fruits, etc

Head of North Jakarta Satpol PP, Iyan Sofyan Hadi stated that his side deployed 100 personnel to do the execution. 

"Those street vendors were trading on sidewalk thus disrupt public order. Commonly they sell foods, drinks, fruits, etc," he stated. 

All this time, he uttered, along the road is often used as illegal race and hangout place of teenagers thus it is prone to criminality. 

His side, he added, gives deadline until Thursday (12/3) to the stalls owners to demolish their stalls. 

"But, if until the determined time the stalls are not being demolished, then we will do it forcibly. Satpol PP personnel will also be on standby at that place to prevent the stalls to be opened again," he asserted.
