Sweeping JPO in North Jakarta, Tens of Stalls and PMKSs Netted

North Jakarta Satpol PP conducted sweeping on pedestrian bridge considered to be prone. Tens of street vendors' stall and people with social welfare problems (PMKS) were controlled.

It is feared that opening stall and begging on the bridge are only a modus

"There are 30 illegal stalls and 50 PMKSs controlled," said Head of North Jakarta Satpol PP, Iyan Sophian, Thursday (11/26).

According to him, the operation was purposed to prevent criminality on pedestrian bridge. Not only that, street vendors and PMKS on the bridge are often unsettling the users.

During October, 108 PMKS in South Jakarta Netted

"Our personnel are spread on 11 prone bridge. It is feared that opening stall and begging on the bridge are only a modus. Hence, they're netted," he explained.

Those controlled stalls then brought to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung, East Jakarta. As for the PMKS, were handed over to North Jakarta Social Sub-Department to be recorded then guided in social house.
