A 500-meter-long land along the guardrail of Jagorawi Toll Road in RW 01 Ceger, Cipayung, East Jakarta, which is used as illegal waste disposal site (TPS) is planted with 350 protective trees.

Cipayung Sub-District Head, Iin Mutmainah disclosed, all this time, local citizens often throw waste in such TPS. No wonder, the environment looks slum.

Tree planting, he furthered, involving Directorate of National Army's Topography, PT Jasa Marga, LMK, urban village and tens of students from SMP and SMA.

"Those 350 protective trees are from Directorate of National Army's Topography. Tree planting is done to make RW 01, Ceger, more beautiful and green. By so, illegal TPS can be prevented," she expressed, Monday (11/30).

Hopefully, the environment could become cleaner and greener than before. "Thus locals feel enjoy and free from waste piles," she uttered.
