According to Santoso, Head of Duren Sawit Sub-District Taskforces, the activity is conducted to overcome puddle in the rain season by arranging water channel, without dismantling inrit (manhole covers) totally.

He admitted, control tub construction is focused on channel. It also gets support from local citizens.
Seeing this, both elements agreed to launch the water channel controlling every Wednesday, starting Jalan Pondok Kopi Raya as a pilot.
"Every Wednesday, we will tear down channels that are closed or not. As the initial phase, we will do it at Jalan Pondok Kopi Raya," he uttered.
