Water Channel Along Jalan Stasiun Kebayoran Lama Widened

The water channel along Jalan Stasiun, Kebayoran Lama Utara, South Jakarta is widened. It is after hundreds of street vendors were controlled from the top of the channel.

It's also for dredging the channel

"The channel is widened from 1.5 meters to be 1 meter. Likewise the depth," said Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village Head, Eko Kardianto, Wednesday (12/2).

According to Kardianto, his side will ask Water Management Sub-Department to send heavy equipment. So that, its process could be faster.

"It's also for dredging the channel," he told.

He uttered the Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers deployed were divided into two zones in the dredging. "The sediment is dredged using 2 armadas. If the channel is widened, the water will flow smoothly again," he disclosed.
