Head of Water Management Dept. Ready to Resolve Puddle Problem

Post-induction process, Head of Jakarta Water Management Department, Teguh Hendrawan promised to resolve puddle problem in the capital city.

"My first breakthrough is no more puddles. If it is still detected, its existence should not be exist more than 24 hours," expressed Hendrawan, Thursday (12/3).

He disclosed, to resolve puddle, there must be working hard and coordination with regional working unit (SKPD/UKPD), such as sub-department, sub-district, and Cleanliness Department. "If it can be run well, I believe Jakarta would be free from puddle in future," he uttered.

Although not having a background in Water Management Department, he is optimistic to lead the technical department which previously led by Tri Djoko Sri Margianto.

"Therefore, we need escort team later. There are still our friends who willing to work well," he disclosed who previously served as Deputy Head of Jakarta Transportation Department.

He asserted that he was ready to be demoted if he could not reach the governor's target in handling flood. "I'm ready for all the consequences," he asserted.
