South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management anticipate flood by preparing mobile pump in Perdatam, Ulujami Urban Village, Pesanggrahan.
Suyadi Sastro, Head of Maintenance and Flood Handling Section for the agency, admitted that his side has placed two pumps to suck water during flood.
S. Jakarta Alerted Portable Pumps at Flood Prone Areas"It is hoped the water could recede quickly," he said, Monday (12/7).
According to him, the pumps are placed along Pesanggrahan River. He hoped the normalization project for the river is continued to reduce inundation areas.
"The normalization is surely reducing the prone areas," he uttered.
