A shanty which located at Jalan Kartini, Kartini Urban Village, Central Jakarta is demolished for allegedly used for drugs transaction and dating site.

" The shanty existence is really disturbing local residents, so that they report it is allegedly used as drugs transaction and dating until midnight ,” said Leo Tantino, Head of Kartini Urban Village, Thursday (12/10).

Tantino added rogue resident seemed to misuse the place as it being abandoned by worker of Public Work Ministry when installing sheet pile in Ciliwung River.

“We’ll restore its function as sidewalk,” he expressed.
