The Duren Tiga Urban Village's Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers pruned a tree on Jalan Pasar Minggu Raya, South Jakarta, since the tree's root with diameter 20 cm has pierced the channel's wall thus clog the flow.

" We pruned the tree at night to avoid traffic congestion ," said Head of Duren Tiga Urban Village, Endang Mulahatmi, Thursday (12/10).

According to Mulahatmi, before pruning, her side had made a report to South Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department to prune trees in her area by using trees cutting crane car. Her side also deployed 13 PPSU officers.

"Due to the tree is so big, we also involved PPSU officers. We have instructed officers to drain the water channel as inundation prevention in rainy season," she closed.
