Inrit on Water Channel Along Janur Kuning Dismantled

Rawa Badak Utara Urban Village's Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers, dismantled manhole cover or inrit along Jalan Janur Kuning, RW 10, North Jakarta. Because the trash and sediment under the inrit clogged the water channel and hard to be cleaned.

Rawa Badak Utara Urban Vilage Head, Teguh Subroto told that  the road is often inundated due to the overflowing of clogged channel.

"That's why now we're deploying PPSU officers to dismantle the cover first, to ease the cleaning," he explained, Friday (12/11).

Hundreds of Inrits in Koja Demolished

The dismantled inrits are sized 50 cm with length up to 50 meters. "Since it's not too long, we're only using manual tools to demolish it. There are 15 personnel deployed," he said.

After dismantling the covers, the channel then dredged. It will be made control tube so that it will be easy to clean. "It can be covered but there should be control tube. Predictably it could be more than 100 sacks transported from the channel," he closed.
