Damaged Sheet Pile in Pulo River in Jati Padang Repaired

The damaged sheet pile of Pulo River at Jalan Yusuf, Jati Padang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, repaired. The repair itself is by using pebbles and installing bronjong (plaited wires used to wrap materials to prevent landslide).

We also plan to do plastering. Hopefully, our effort could reduce inundation

“The damage has 30 meters long,” said Head of Maintenance and Flood Control Section for South Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Suyadi Sastro, Friday (12/11).

Sastro continued if it is ignored, it will lead to overflowing waters to citizen residential. "If the flood happens, the sheet pile can leak and lead to overflowing waters," he predicted.

He asserted the repair has been ongoing since last week and is predicted to be complete next week.
