Illegal Building in B4 Block Kemayoran Demolished

Illegal building standing on 2,700 square meters land in B4 block, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta were demolished on Monday (12/14).

This is state asset which must be restored its functioned

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com watchlist, around 300 personnel seen busy dismantling all buildings which mostly built by wood and zinc. Tight guarding looked along the entrance to the area.

A Shanty on Jalan Kartini Demolished

As the demolishment is deemed a sudden, residents seen defend against personnel while some of them were trying to save their stuff.

“No warning before, even more there is no sub-district or urban village head here. So how we deliver our complaint? said Rusdi, one of residents whose home was demolished, Monday (12/14).

Head of Kemayoran Complex Management Center (PPKK), Soetrisno Danu acknowledged such land will be restored as its designation.

“This is state asset which must be restored its functioned. ”he expressed.

Yadi Rusmayadi, Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP stated that around 50 personnel were sent to assist demolishment process. “Just for back up and anticipation way in case of chaos,” he finished.
