Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana hoped the ulema to further improve religious teachings (syiar), especially danger of liquor and drugs.

"I need the ulema to help us in conveying the dangers of alcohol and drugs during preaching, Majelis Taklim (Islamic study group), etc in Mosque," he said, Tuesday (12/15).

According to him, this problem must be resolved togetherness. Therefore, the local government, national army, and police will tighten security level ahead of Christmas and New Year. The target is liquor, clash among citizens and so on.
