East Jakarta Mayor Bambang Musyawardana will visit 46 charismatic ulemas post of Eid-ul Fitr. It is purposed to develop and strengthen the synergy that has been intertwined all this time between clerics and umaro (leader of the nation).

"After Eid-ul Fitr, the mayor will hold Hospitality Shawwal to the house of East Jakarta charismatic Ulema. To be more synergize development in East Jakarta, as well as tighten relatioship between the Ulema and umaro," disclosed Division Head of East Jakarta Mental Education, Nasrudin Abu Bakar, Thursday (7/9).

One of the ulemas who will be visited by the mayor is KH Shodri that also serves as the Leader of East Jakarta Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).

The man nicknamed Rudi added, ulema's role is much needed for development process in Jakarta. Moreover at citizens, he continued, ulema's position equal with leader (umaro).

"Sometimes citizens often listen to ulema than umaro, therefore it needs synergy between them. A leader needs to hold ulemas and public figures to socialize a working program to citizens. The development is not only physically, but also mentally. Well, one of the ulema's roles is develop mental and moral of citizens," he asserted.
