Tax Cheating Game, Basuki to Demote 90 Percent of Tax Officers

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama plans to demote 90 percent of Jakarta Tax Service Department employee. It was following a raid in the Office of Tax Service Dept in West Jakarta by Jakarta City Police, Tuesday (15/12) yesterday.

“If these rouge individuals of tax dept are guilty, we will demote them,” he said, at City Hall, Wednesday (12/16).

Basuki acknowledged he already know the tax cheating modus in Jakarta. Mostly, the modus in the field is similar thus it can be detected easily. “We immediately mark the unscrupulous one who bargains the tax value,” he expressed.

Basuki to Increase Parking Tax Revenue Target

He assumed such modus has been exist since long time ago. "The new officials' behavior is also the same with the old officials, surely we arrest them," he stressed.

He also has known the case since one month ago but refuses to reveal it for getting additional evidence. "I want to detect the money flow in advance," he uttered.

This findings showed that the corruptor's behavior is still stick on their mentality.

"I already have the cheater data behind tax service. We will arrest them soon," asserted Basuki.
