As many as 230 janitors in Central Jakarta will be alerted on New Year's Eve. They will be spread to some crowd points.

Head of Central Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Marsigit stated the officers are prepared starting at 7 PM and predictably start cleaning at 1 AM.

He said that some points focused on cleaning are at Jl MH Thamrin, Jl Medan Merdeka, Jl Asia Afrika, Jl Benyamin Sueb, and around Central Jakarta Mayor Office.
"We're deploying 4 units of street sweepers, 10 pick-up cars, 10 dump trucks, and 4 mobile toilet at Jalan Tanah Abang 1, IRTI Monas and inside of Monas," he disclosed.
