Ketuk Pintu Program Should Not Only Be A Slogan

Head of Jakarta Health Department, Koesmedi Priharto hopes Ketuk Pintu Layani dengan Hati (Literally Knock Door Serve with Heart) program not to only be a slogan, but should be implemented in community health centers (puskesmas), either in sub-district or urban village.

The medical personnel are demanded to give optimal service to citizen

"The medical personnel are demanded to give optimal service to citizen. Profession in medical field is a choice that must be done with full of responsible," said Priharto when attending the commemoration of 51st National Health Day, at parking lot of one of shopping centers in Kembangan, West Jakarta, Saturday (12/19).

According to Priharto, for whole medical personnel in sub-district and urban village who directly serve through the program, it is time to change perspective towards citizen.

City Keeps Improving Health and Education Service

"If it's usually let's help citizens, now change it with let's live healthy together. It means, citizens empowerment is very needed and it should be done together," he uttered.

The commemoration of National Health day was filled with various activities including joint gymnastic, information exhibition of health service participated by community health centers in 8 sub-districts in West Jakarta and talkshow about health.
