TMII's Connecting Channel Cleaned

Personnel of Public Infrastructure and Facility Handling (PPSU) of Lubang Buaya Urban Village, East Jakarta, cleaned TMII’s connecting channel. Several trees were also cut to avoid collapse.

Ahmad Fathoni, Head of Lubang Buaya Urban Village, admitted that there were 100 PPSU personnel deployed during the working.

“The personnel cleaned trash and mud on the channel,” he said, Sunday (12/20).

Cipinang River Cleaned from Trash

Previously, the channel often made the surrounding areas inundated such as in SMA 113, Minhajurrosyidin boarding school, and residential. This working action was also involving urban village, sub-district, Satpol PP, Army, and Police.

After the normalization project is done, the channel bank will be plastered. The budget is taken from local residents and Minhajurrosyidin boarding school aid.

“It is done to prevent people building illegal shanties,” he closed.
