Tax Revenue in Central Jakarta Has Touched 98.35 Percent

Until mid-December, the tax revenue from hotel, entertainment, restaurant, advertisement and illegal parking in Central Jakarta has reached 98.35 percent from the target by over Rp 1.8 billion.

Head of Central Jakarta Tax Service Sub-Department, Arif Susilo acknowledged optimistic to reach 99 percent of target until this end of the year.

While for the revenue of Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2), he revealed, could exceed 100 percent from the target by Rp 1.15 trillion.

He assessed the PBB-P2 tax revenue experienced a significant spike after installing plank for delinquent taxes at some points in Central Jakarta.

Previously, he continued the amount of tax arrears in Central Jakarta reached Rp 36 billion. Due to plank installation, the taxpayers immediately did tax payment.

“We thank to taxpayers who have paid. Because this is for resident interest,” he finished.
