Kopaja Asked For Time to Fix Their Fleet Until the end of 2016

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama acknowledged he gave second chance to Jakarta Transportation Cooperative (Kopaja) for fixing their fleet until the end of 2016.

Kopaja asked for time for correction until the end of 2016, and we give it

“Kopaja asked for time for correction until the end of 2016, and we give it. Certainly, there will be no tolerance for unroadworthy bus,” he expressed at City Hall, Monday (12/28).

He furthered the policy is applicable for all public transports, such as metromini and Kopami.

“Metromini also promised that they would fix their fleet. We’ll see,” he uttered.

He asserted that they would not go bankrupt if they hold on rupiah per kilometer system. This is because the government will provide subsidy or public service obligation (PSO).

“We will pay them Rp 3,500 per trip. Just believe me, you will not go bankrupt if you hold on our policy,” he finished.
