Residents of RT 17/07, Kayumanis Urban Village, Matraman, East Jakarta, demanded trash dredged from water channel which is pilling up in temporary waste disposal site (TPS) and in front of residential alley to be cleaned immediately.

Wartim, one of residents stated that besides ruining the environment, the trash piles have also disrupted residents' mobility.
"How could trash from water channel are just piled up in TPS and the alley," he complained, Monday (12/28).
Anticipating Trash Piles, 1,132 Freelancers in North Jakarta DeployedRetno, another resident, asked the urban village head to command Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers to transport the trash.
"PPSU cleaned the channel but the trash were not disposed right away," she expressed.
