Tens of Sacks Pilling Up on Sidewalk of Jalan Pegangsaan Dua

Pedestrians are complaining about piled up sacks on sidewalk along Jalan Pegangsaan Dua Raya, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, or precisely in front of Equipments and Provisions Unit Office for Jakarta Water Management and Bina Marga Department.

Those sacks piles are really disrupting pedestrians. We have to go down to the road and up again to the sidewalk. It troubles us

Those tens of sacks containing mud mixed with trash dredged by Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village's Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers, a couple of times ago.

"Those sacks piles are really disrupting pedestrians. We have to go down to the road and up again to the sidewalk. It troubles us," complained Sukma (36), one of pedestrians, Monday (12/28).

If pedestrian walk by the road, it could be dangerous. Since it is really crowded passed by container trucks and other heavy vehicles.

"We're afraid of being grazed by vehicles passing," she expressed.

Separately, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village Head, Abdul Buang claimed that PPSU officers are draining the channel.

"Yeah right, there are many sacks piles but we'll clean them up right now," he stated.
