Eight urban villages of Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta, held communal work today (1/10). Local residents together with PPSU personnel cleaned trash and water channel.
Based on governor’s instruction, each urban village head must take care of environment
Those eight urban villages are Setu, Cipayung, Cilangkap, Ceger, Munjul, Pondok Ranggon, Lubang Buaya, and Bambu Apus.
Iin Mutmainah, Cipayung Sub-district Head, said that this communal work was participated by PPSU, Satpol PP, and local residents.
Neighborhood Trash Workers will Be Recruited to Be PPSU Officer“Based on governor’s instruction, each urban village head must take care of environment. Especially on trash to avoid puddle during rainy season,” she said.
As many as 20 PPSU personnel were deployed for each urban village and assisted by neighbour/community caretaker.
Bambang Musyawardana, East Jakarta Mayor, suggested that water channel in Pondok Pinang urban village, precisely in RT 03/01 is dredged by East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management. It is because the channel is not maximally working.
