Starting this year, the operational and entertainment venue permit that located inside big buildings must have technical recommendation from Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Department.

He disclosed, second alternative, the supervision towards karaoke places is done along with Satpol PP, Tourism and Culture Department, One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (BPTSP) and City Spatial Planning Department.

He assessed, such warning mentions the BPTSP will give deadline to the building and entertainment venue owners to fix early protection system for six months.
"We will monitor. If there is no progress within six months, we will revoke the operational and business permit," he stressed.
Based on an investigation towards 24 entertainment venues, a number of early fire protection items are not eligible. Among them are lights and emergency doors, directional exit, emergency alarm and light fire extinguisher (Apar).
"Of the 24 entertainment venues, all had notes and findings. This will be followed up by BPTSP," he uttered.
