Six BUMDs Will Remain Receive PMP

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama acknowledged that he will remain give the government investment participation (PMP) to the six regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) in Jakarta.

PMP can remain be given. But they (BUMD) must explain why they need it

This is because, after being studied, the Home Ministry only gave a note that the PMP can be issued, as long as there is clarification.

"PMP can remain be given. But they (BUMD) must explain why they need it," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (1/11).

Those six BUMDs are PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), PD PAL Jaya, Bank DKI, PD Dharma Jaya, PT Transjakarta, and Pasar Jaya. Meanwhile, PMP was only given to PT Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta.

He was previously disappointed because the Home Ministry had crossed out them. This is because they urgently need an injection of capital for business development.

Additional PMP for those BUMDs was set in bylaw of each BUMD.
