S. Jakarta Accelerates e-ID Card Printing

South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Population and Civil Registration targets to print 61,073 e-ID cards by early February 2016.

“There were 36,232 cards have been printed since January 2,” said Sapto Wibowo, head of agency, Monday (1/18).

According to him, the lack of printing machine has disturbed the process. It only eight machines spread in Tebet SUb-district, Kebayoran Lama, Pasar Minggu, and South Jakarta Mayor PTSP office.

“One machine is able to print 300-400 cards per day. It is targeted to be done in the next 20 days,” he added.

Another target is printing machine will be available in all urban village offices in South Jakarta by March 2016.
