Jakarta Provincial Government will launch Fatahillah Mosque on January 29, 2016 in at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta. As planned, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will launch this mosque.

“Yes, the president will launch the mosque,” said Ika Lestari Adji, Jakarta Head Dept. of Public Housing and Governmental Building, Wednesday (1/19).
Ika added that the mosque has unique style such as classic dome. This style aims to give wide effect since the mosque was built in narrow space.

“We also coordinate with dept. of city park and cemeteries to beautify the park, and dept. of industry and energy to add the spotlight,” Ika closed.
