Jakarta Provincial Government keeps intensifying the flood handling management since 2015. Based on Regional Disaster Handling (BPBD) data, this year flood and puddle is predicted to recede quickly compared to last year.
The receding period could be from 3 to 4 hours only
“We predict the flood and puddle will recede in hours this year,” said Bambang Surya Putra, BPBD officer, Tuesday (1/19).
According to him, several effort such as river and connecting dredging, manhole dismantling, and illegal building controlling have impacted the result much.
