Land owned by Jakarta Dept. of Sport and Youth on Jalan Mangga Rt 02/03, Batu Ampar, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, will be made as artificial lake or locally known as embung to preserve water. Unluckily, the land is being occupied by third party now.
We will build an embung to avoid puddle for the surrounding area
Syofian Taher, East Jakarta Assistant of Development and Environment, said Jakarta Provincial Government previously wanted the land to be built with flat. Since the surrounding condition is not appropriate and could disturb the air traffic from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, then the plan is changed.
“We will build an embung to avoid puddle for the surrounding area,” he said, Thursday (1/21).
