Pulogebang Bus Terminal, East Jakarta is still can not operate maximally since the road access construction of Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) is yet unfinished. The operational permit from Ministry of Transportation is also postponed.

The terminal is ready to operate, but we need road access

Nurhayati Sinaga, Head of Pulogebang Terminal UPT, said that the permit is yet issued, while her side had proposed since 2015. She hoped Bina Marga Department will finish the road access development.

“The terminal is ready to operate, but we need road access. That is why the permit is not issued by the ministry,” she said.

If the terminal is operated for big bus, then the alternative road will be in terrible traffic jam.

Meanwhile, Yusmada Faizal, Jakarta Head Dept. of Bina Marga, admitted that the road access from terminal to JORR is finished, but the access from JORR to terminal is delayed.

“We face a land lawsuit precisely beside the toll road. Construction target is to finish in March,” he stated.
