Urban Village Heads Must Check Water Conduits

All urban village heads in Duren Sawit Sub-district, East Jakarta, were summoned, Monday (1/25). They were appealed to check water conduits regularly as anticipation of rainy season.

East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Husein Murad, said the summoning of urban village heads due to puddle was still found. That’s why he asked the heads to work maximally.

“I don’t want to see any puddle again, so please check the water conduits before the rain pours,” he uttered.

30 Urban Villages in W. Jakarta Prone to Flood

The heads could find solution if the water conduits are not working well. They can ask assistant from related units such as East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Bina Marga or Sub-dept. of Water Management.

“I’ll monitor them tightly,” he promised.
