Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama is utilizing sister city to improve Jakarta athletes. He assessed, it is cheaper than routine training.

"I think Jakarta athletes should not participate regional training, national training, but send them to sister city school," he said, at City Hall, Tuesday (1/26).

He cited, in Russian, is famous with wrestling or chess. Thus the athletes can be sent for three years. They will return to Jakarta if there is sport tournament.

Basuki believes this way is a solution in preparing athlete. Yet the sport will be adjusted to sister city finesse.

"If they could be a champion, we will give them doorprize. I think it will revolutionize the concept of preparation of athletes," he closed.
