During January 2016, East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Population and Civil Registration has printed e-ID card by 132,409 cards. The agency targeted to finish the printing by February.

Achmad Fauzi, head of the agency, said that total e-ID card up to Wednesday (1/27) was 1,923,482 cards. The number of citizens who already recorded are 1,955,068 or 96.7 percent.

“So we must finish card printing by 31,568 cards remaining,” he said, (1/28).

In order to meet the target, his side extending the working hours up to 10 PM.

“We also open in Saturday and Sunday. Resident can come to office to record their data,” he added.
