Betawian Product Promotion Center Ready to Be Built in S. Jakarta

The South Jakarta Administration planned to provide Betawian product promotion center, in Setu Babakan, Jagakarsa, and Pasar Raya Blok M. The effort is aimed to introduce Betawian product to domestic and foreign tourist.

"The plan should run well since there is no such place in Jakarta," said Remulsi, South Jakarta Head of Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy, Tuesday (4/8).
Remulsi added that the project is also involving the city-owned enterprises (BUMD) and entrepreneurs in South Jakarta.
Household Wives Move the Economy through Betawi Batik"We also conduct guidance and training to entrepreneurs in a bid to improve the product quality. It is hoped they are able to compete in national or international markets," he added.
Such guidance and training consists of eco-friendly raw materials usage, processing, attractive packaging, marketing and management of wastewater processing from production thus it can match with the quality and safe for consumption.
