Election Day, Ragunan Zoo Opens at 1 pm

The Ragunan Zoo, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta will open at 1 pm on Wednesday (4/9) after the election polls. Such policy is given to ease Ragunan Zoo officers voting in the election.

We want to give the officers and staffs of their voting right in the tomorrow Legislative Election. Thus, the zoo will open at the afternoon

"The zoo will open in the afternoon after polling," said Wahyudi Bambang, the Public Relation of Ragunan Zoo, Tuesday (4/8).

According to Bambang, the zoo will open at 1 pm, 5 hours later than the normal open time at 8 am. “The 1 pm is the limit of the voting time ends. So we choose that time for the opening time of the zoo, but the latest time for ticket selling will be at 4 pm,” he explained.

For tomorrow, the Ragunan Zoo will open all the ticket booths. It is estimated that the public will visit this recreation park. “As many as 30 ticket booths will be opened. We predicted that the city residents want to take a vacation after the election process since there is nothing to do after that except family gathering,” Bambang stated.

There is no special event in the election holiday tomorrow. Attractions of elephant, camel, and horse riding, as well as skilled animal show are still the mainstay of Ragunan Zoo.
