Transportation Dept Recruited 943 Contract Workers

The city administration recruited 943 contract workers where 243 out of them are graduate of Transportation High School (STTD) for Transportation Ministry.

Jakarta Transportation Dept Head, Andri Yansyah disclosed that contract worker is recruited to assist and smoothen the implementation of supervision and control for traffic operational.

"Transportation Dept has held basic education training for 700 people to fill supervisor and controller posts," he told.
It is hoped able to contribute energy and idea to overcome traffic congestion and violation in the capital.
They will get honorarium in accordance with the existing provisions through Bank DKI 's Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) and will be registered Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan).
"But I do not promise to promote them as civil servant (CPNS)," he stressed.
General Secretary at the Ministry of Transportation, Sugihardjo said that 243 contract workers have undergone the education and training (diklat) over two weeks. "The diklat includes mental coaching and understanding of traffic condition in the city," he closed.
