As much as 15 officers of Public Infrastructure and Facility Handling (PPSU) cleaned up the water channel at Jl Gadang Terusan, Sungai Bambu Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district. The channel is deemed lead to puddle around the site. 

The water in the channel often overflows into the road due to sediment

Sungai Bambu Urban Village, Sumarno disclosed that cleaning was done along 300 m due to sediment. During rain, the water often overflows and inundates Jl Gadang Terusan as high as 10 cm.

"The water in the channel often overflows into the road due to sediment," he expressed, Monday (2/1).

The officer managed to pick up 150 sacks of mud. By so, he hoped, it could reduce puddle in future.

"With the deepening of the channel, will be able to accommodate more water when rain poured and to minimize puddles along the road," he expected.
