The residents of Kampung Pulo, Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara, East Jakarta hoped the project of Ciliwung River normalization could be speed up. It is because the inspection road has already damaged and inundated due to passed by heavy vehicles.

Mutmainah (50), one of the citizens, hoped the government will speed up the project to avoid worse road condition.

“All inspection road are damage. Government should pay attention on this,” she said, Tuesday (2/2).

She added that the road repair must be asphalted for better quality.

“Because of this project, this area is no longer flooded. Puddle also receded faster,” she admitted.
