Basuki Inaugurates 10 Green Open Spaces

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama inaugurated 10 green open spaces (RTH) and Reformasi Plaza that is built for commemorating Mei 1998 tragedy, in Pondok Ranggon Public Cemetery (TPU).

"I hope silaturahmi (communal togetherness) can run smoothly here. By so, local residents can share and report their problem with urban village head to be resolved. And don't forget to maintain and treat the park properly," he expressed, when he inaugurated 10 RTHs and Reformasi Plaza, in Jagakarsa Park, South Jakarta, Tuesday (2/9).

For other nine RTHs are Cakung, Kelapa, Zodia, Kalibaru Timur, PPA, Maja, Tanjung 2, Lebak Bulus 3 and Sunter.

Under Kampung Pulo Flyover Proposed to Be Park and Ride Site

While Reformasi Plaza is presented to the Mei'98 tragedy monument, to recall those who died in the tragedy. This is initiated the birth of the struggle for reforms and for those who struggle for justice and democracy until now.

Those were built by Jakarta Park and Cemetery Department last year.
