Ria Rio Reservoir Freelancers Need Their Salary

Tens of Jakarta Dept. of Water Management freelancers are waiting their salary to be paid. Mostly are those who work for flood task unit and heavy equipment operators at Ria Rio Reservoir.

We have debt in stalls to be paid

Mic (27), one of freelancers, admitted that usually the salary is paid on the fifth day every month. In fact, the salary for January is not yet paid up to today (Tuesday (2/9).

“We have debt in stalls to be paid. I would like to report this to the governor,” he said.

Ria Rio Dam Dredging Neglected for 2 Weeks

There are 40 flood task unit personnel and four heavy equipment operators. They rely on sugar plantation (tabu) for their drink and fishing for their dish.

“When we have to standby for 24 hours, we always hungry at night due to the wind blows strongly here,” he added.
