Land Buying Obstructs Adding Open Space

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, uttered land buying process for open space is difficult to do. It is because civil servants are still asking money during the process.

“I found many servants asking form 10-17 percent of commission from the resident,” he said, Tuesday (2/9).

Basuki admitted that civil servant also asked 2.5 percent commission from land that is already bought. There are several city’s asset standing on green lane.

Jakarta Provincial Government prepares Rp 5-7 trillion for buying land. His side offers to the residents who have land certificate on the green lane to be sold to Jakarta Provincial Government.

“Many problems obstructed our effort adding open space,” he closed.
