Heavy rain poured in the capital had flooded houses at RT 06/05 on Jalan Meninjo, Ciganjur, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta up to 90 cm.

80 houses at RT 06 are all flooded

Ali Sadikin, RT 06 chairman, admitted that water started to inundate houses at 4 PM.

“80 houses at RT 06 are all flooded,” he said, Friday (2/12).

Unluckily, none of the residents are willing to evacuate. They preferred to stay in the house.

“Now the water start to recede to 50 cm. Maybe in three hours the water will fully recede,” he added.
