South Jakarta Tax Service Sub-dept held socialization about online system and hands over transaction tool in form of electronic point sales (E-pos) to 365 taxpayers of hotel, entertainment, restaurant and parking, Monday (2/15).

E-pos is compliance with Jakarta Governor to use online system in future

Head of South Jakarta Tax Service Sub-dept, Johari said that it is aimed to improve the understanding of local tax to the WP. Besides introducing a breakthrough and an innovation in order to service and tax collection in Jakarta.

"E-pos is compliance with Jakarta Governor to use online system in future. For South Jakarta, gets 1,300 units. This time we already distribute 365 units," he said.

He hopes tax transaction could be more transparent.

Based on the latest data, the number of taxpayer type hotel business reaches 429 taxpayers, but 353 of them have not been online. While entertainment business, from 167 out of 244 taxpayers have not used online. Then restaurant business, 1,092 out of 2,423 taxpayers have not used online and parking tax, from 123 out of 254 taxpayers have not used online.

He added, tax target in South Jakarta this year is amounting to Rp 2,132,846,000,000. With details, hotel Rp 496,219,000,000, entertainment Rp 135,326,000,000, restaurant Rp 1,171,549,000,000, parking Rp 130,844,000,000, and credit disbursement Rp 198,908,000,000.

This value increases up to 36.04 percent from last year's target was Rp 1,567,772,000,000.
