5,500 Online Tax Monitoring Tools Distributed to Taxpayers

Jakarta Tax Service Department (DPP) is about to distribute thousands of online tax monitoring tools to tax payers (WP). The target of taxpayers installed with the tools are hotels, restaurants, and entertainment places.

The tools are targeted to be done being distributed in January, then start operating in February

"There are 5,500 tools distributed to taxpayers in 5 areas, eventually each transaction can be monitored and the data automatically will be sent to the Tax Department," said Head of Jakarta Tax Service Department, Agus Bambang Setiowidodo, when he held socialization to staffs of Regional Tax Service Unit (UPPD) in Jakarta, Monday (12/28).

According to him, before being distributed, his side trained the staffs so that they can explain the operation. For the registration process or if there is malfunction and so on.

"The tools are targeted to be done being distributed in January, then start operating in February," he stated.

By installing the tools in each WP, the tax department will be able to monitor all transactions. So it can be calculated directly the tax which has to be paid off.
