47 Puddle Complaints in W. Jakarta Handled

As many as 47 public complaints via Qlue and letter over puddle handling are successfully handled by West Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept.

“We try do our best to follow up public complaint over puddle. Water taskforce at sub-district level is also responsive when receiving the report. They directly go to the field to find out the cause is,” said Head of West Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept, Imron S, Monday (2/15).

He said that puddle is triggered by building standing on channel, lower position of manhole cover and malfunctioned channel.

Preventing Puddle, Gutters in South Jakarta Torn Down

His sub-dept does various handling, starting from refunction and drain mud from channel.

“Channel handling in residential is coordinated with local headman thus it can directly be handled by PPSU officer. If it is needed, we will also send heavy equipment to the field,” he finished.
