Heavy Rain Inundates 18 Roads in Jakarta

Heavy rain that poured the capital city yesterday, Sunday (2/14), has left puddle in some roads. Until afternoon, the Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) recorded that puddle has inundated 18 roads.

Water level is varied, between 10-60 cm. The higher level is spotted in Bangka, Mampang, which is more than 60 cm

Head of Jakarta BPBD's Control and Informatic Agency, Bambang Surya Putra said, worst puddle is seen in East Jakarta with 11 roads, followed by 6 roads in South Jakarta and 1 road in West Jakarta.

Jalan Karang Tengah Raya Inundated

"Water level is varied, between 10-60 cm. The higher level is spotted in Bangka, Mampang, which is more than 60 cm," he expressed, Sunday (2/14).

-East Jakarta

2. Jl DI Panjaitan, in front of Cawang Kencana, Cililitan  (20 cm)

3. Jl Perindustrian, Kebon Pala, Makasar Urban Village (20 cm)

4. Jl Condet Raya, in opposite of PGC  (30-50 cm) 

5. Jl DI Panjaitan towards Kalimalang (20 cm)

6. Jl Dewi Sartika (10-20 cm)

7. Jl DI Panjaitan, in front of Patria Apartment (20-30 cm)‎

8. Jl DI Panjaitan, in front of Kebon Nanas (29-30 cm)

9. Under Flyover of Jl Dewi Sartika towards Cililitan (25 cm)

10. In front of Wika Cawang, (30 cm)

11. RT 13/05, in front of Al Hawi Mosque, Condet (30 cm)

- South Jakarta

1. Jagal Market, Bucit Stall, Mampang (30 cm)
