Water Channel in Kampung Bandan Dredged

In order to minimize puddle, water channel on Jalan Kampung Bandan, RW 06, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta, precisely in front of Mangga Dua Sub Sector police post, was dredged.
Previously, the water receded in two days, but now only hours after channel is dredged
Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, the dredging was applied along 50 meter on the left side of Jalan Kampung Bandan.
Ridwan (46), citizen of RT 04/06, Ancol Urban Village, admitted that Jalan Kampung Bandan always flooded by 10-20 cm if rain pours.

Meanwhile, Pademangan Sub-district Head, Musa Safrudin, stated dredging done by Sub-dept. of Water Management is aimed to minimize puddle around the area.
“The area was prone to puddle,” he stated.
