South Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept was instructed to immediately fix damaged manhole covers in Casablanca Tunnel. It is aimed to prevent casualty, especially motorcycle.

"We have ordered related unit to check the manhole cover in the tunnel. We will fix it," expressed Head of Jakarta Water Management Dept, Teguh Hendrawan, Wednesday (2/17).

Previously, he explained, his dept received a report that there were many manhole covers damaged and missing. Surely it is very dangerous. He also urges the motorist to be more careful when passing.

Such condition happens on two sides of the road. As the information, all this time, the manhole cover is also used by road user as a sidewalk.
