Bandung Learns e-Budgeting from Jakarta

The budgeting process by using e-budgeting and e-planning has attracted other regions to learn. One of the regions is Bandung City Administration, West Java.

Bandung Regional Secretary, Yossi Irianto, admitted that his side has implemented technology-base procurement. But the implementation is not yet integrated.

“We need to run the system together and integrated. That’s why we come here,” he said, Thursday (2/18).

Yossi added that urban village and sub-district heads are asked responsively responding social media, but civil bureaucrat is not ready.

Meanwhile, Sylviana Murni, Deputy of Tourism and Culture, explained the budgeting was overlapping. In fact, e-planning made the process easier.

“Breakthrough is still needed to speed up the work,” she stated.
